Platform · Framer

Framer, when the site is part of the pitch.

Framer publishes a site straight from the design canvas, which makes it a good fit where the website is part of the pitch and the motion matters. Sites Crafted builds Framer sites from $500 ex GST. As with Wix, the trade is portability: the site lives on Framer and does not move off it.

Why this one

What Framer is genuinely good at.

01

Motion that is not bolted on

Transitions and interaction are part of the design tool rather than a plugin.

02

Fast by default

Framer sites load quickly without a performance project afterwards.

03

Design fidelity

What was designed is what publishes.

The trade-off

Every platform costs you something.

Same trade as Wix and Squarespace: the site lives on Framer. There is a monthly fee, the blog and content tooling is thinner than WordPress, and moving off means rebuilding.

Suits: Studios, agencies, product launches and brands where the website is part of the sales pitch rather than a directory listing.

Websites from $500 ex GST

One page $500. Up to five pages $1,000. Up to twelve $2,500. All ex GST and quoted before we start. E-commerce, GoHighLevel and anything larger is priced on scope.

Frequently asked questions

Can we blog on Framer?

Yes, but the content tooling is thinner than WordPress and a site publishing several posts a week will feel it. If the blog is the point, WordPress is the better answer; if the blog is occasional, Framer is fine.

What does a Framer site cost?

The same as any other site we build: $500 ex GST for one page, $1,000 for up to five, $2,500 for up to twelve. Platform subscriptions, where the platform charges one, are paid by you directly to them and are not part of our price. Full pricing.

Can you move an existing site onto Framer?

Usually. What matters is where the content and the URLs are now, because a migration that changes every URL without redirecting them throws away whatever search visibility the old site had. We check that first and tell you what it will cost to keep.

Who looks after it afterwards?

We do, if you want us to. Hosting, updates, backups and someone to call are part of what we quote rather than an upsell at handover. Seventeen sites are on that arrangement now.
