The trade-off
Every platform costs you something.
It is the least portable of the platforms we build on. A Wix site cannot be exported and moved — changing platforms later means starting again. We will say that before you start rather than after.

Frequently asked questions
Is Wix bad for SEO?
Not any more, and anyone still saying so is quoting 2015. Wix handles titles, descriptions, redirects and sitemaps properly now. The real limitation is portability, not search: you cannot export a Wix site.
What does a Wix site cost?
The same as any other site we build: $500 ex GST for up to three pages, $1,000 for up to ten, $2,500 for up to twenty-five. Platform subscriptions, where the platform charges one, are paid by you directly to them and are not part of our price. Full pricing.
Can you move an existing site onto Wix?
Usually. What matters is where the content and the URLs are now, because a migration that changes every URL without redirecting them throws away whatever search visibility the old site had. We check that first and tell you what it will cost to keep.
Who looks after it afterwards?
We do, if you want us to. Hosting, updates, backups and someone to call are part of what we quote rather than an upsell at handover. Seventeen sites are on that arrangement now.
